Requirements for 2020 - Block of the Month Quilt
by Sue NICKSON
Requirements:
1 1/2 - 2 Metres x Border fabric (For borders and binding)
Then pick colours to match and contrast with your border fabric
1 Metre for the Sashing (Purple on quilt)
1 1/2 Metres of background fabric (White on quilt)
A small self coloured pattern always works well.
NB: Does not need to be white.
4-5 Fat Quarters that go with the border fabric
E.g. Try one light; one dark and one medium tone. These can be scraps from your stash. You can have 5 or more if you wish.
Always buy more rather than less, the excess fabric can be used on the back of the quilt so will not be wasted.
